The gas metering station in the city has also been taken under control

Ukrainian Armed Forces have recorded a video in which they announce the complete control of the city Sudzha in Russia’s Kursk region. This was reported by WNTab on Friday, August 9, citing the publication of the relevant footage online.

According to the military, the city is fully controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, the situation in the area is calm, and all buildings are intact. The video also notes that the city’s strategic facility – a gas metering station, through which natural gas is transited to Ukraine and further into the EU – has also come under the control of the Ukrainian army.

It is worth recalling that the first reports of Ukrainian troops entering the territory of Russia’s Kursk region appeared as early as the morning of August 6. However, Ukrainian officials did not comment on the information, while Russian authorities declared a state of emergency in the region.

Earlier, WNTab reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan does not rule out an invasion of Israel.
