Trump: Ukraine and Russia Are Very Close to an Agreement

The head of the White House believes it is time for the sides to meet at a high level for discussions

The President of the United States (USA) Donald Trump stated that most of the key points for resolving the war in Ukraine have been agreed upon, and now the sides should discuss them at a higher level. This was reported by WNTab on Saturday, April 26, citing the White House leader’s post on the social network Truth Social.

Donald Trump:

«A good day for negotiations and meetings with Russia and Ukraine. They are very close to an agreement, and both sides should now meet at a very high level to finalize it».

The U.S. President added that most of the main points of the agreement have been coordinated and called on the countries to stop the bloody war.

On April 26, Donald Trump is in the Vatican attending the funeral ceremonies for Pope Francis. According to media reports, he is expected to meet there with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
