Among the victims of the strike were police officers who died when a shell hit their station
On Thursday, April 24, Israeli aircraft carried out another airstrike on the Gaza Strip, killing 29 people. This was reported by WNTab on Saturday, April 26, citing the Xinhua news agency.
Journalists refer to data from the Gaza Civil Defense Service. According to its representatives, among the dead were police officers who were in a station at the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern part of the enclave when it was struck.
In addition, several people were injured in the attack, and buildings were destroyed. All the injured were taken to Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.
Meanwhile, the IDF stated that the strike targeted a facility used as a command and control center by Hamas and Islamic Jihad groups. Israeli military representatives claim that this is where attacks on their soldiers and civilians were coordinated.
The IDF added that every effort was made to minimize civilian casualties, including the use of precision munitions and aerial surveillance.
Earlier, WNTab reported that Israel had carried out more than 200 airstrikes on the Gaza Strip over three days.
It was also reported that the IDF had launched an attack on Beirut, the capital of Lebanon.
