The implementation of the long-term strategy to reduce dependence on China is expected to be completed by the end of 2026

Apple intends to import most iPhones for the U.S. market from India by the end of 2026. This was reported by WNTab on Friday, April 25, citing sources from the Bloomberg news agency.

Currently, the majority of the tech giant’s phones are manufactured in China. Only 20% of the 60 million devices sold in the U.S. are imported from India.

The production diversification strategy was adopted by the tech giant during the COVID-19 pandemic, when strict lockdown restrictions in China disrupted stable manufacturing. Now, Apple is accelerating the relocation of production facilities due to trade tariffs and the growing geopolitical tensions with China.

Earlier, WNTab reported that Bitcoin had surpassed Google and Amazon in market capitalization.
