Billionaire makes the decision amid declining Tesla revenue and income

Tesla CEO and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Elon Musk, has decided to reduce his involvement in the management of the government agency. This was reported by WNTab on Thursday, April 24, citing the automaker’s latest earnings report.

The billionaire plans to participate in government affairs only 1–2 days a week in order to ensure that the previously eliminated waste and fraud do not resurface.

According to Tesla’s Q1 2025 report, the company’s revenue dropped by 9% year-over-year, while income from the automotive sector fell by 20%.

Musk had previously expressed concerns that his work in government was making him too weak to manage the company effectively.

It’s worth noting that in a short time, DOGE has already saved U.S. taxpayers billions of dollars. For example, cutting the USAID project budgets by 92% saved the federal treasury $54 billion.

Earlier, WNTab reported that Secretary of State Marco Rubio had announced a large-scale reorganization of his department.
