Among the victims of the military actions are 50 children and 95 women
As a result of Israeli military attacks on populated areas in Lebanon, 558 people have been killed so far. This was reported by WNTab on Tuesday, September 24, citing a press conference by Lebanon’s Health Minister Firas Abiad.
The minister added that among the dead are 50 children and 95 women. In addition, 1,835 people were injured to varying degrees.
Faris Abiad stated that the enemy’s attacks on populated areas in the eastern and southern parts of the country are happening “in an unprecedented manner.” He emphasized that most of the victims are civilians. In his opinion, this calls into question Israel’s claims about military groups being the target.
The official also spoke about attacks on ambulances and a hospital in the city of Bint Jbeil. According to him, four emergency service workers were killed in the shelling.
Earlier, WNTab reported that Israel attacked Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon.
The escalation of the conflict was preceded by mass explosions of communication devices and household appliances across Lebanon.
