Three others injured
At least four members of Pakistan’s Frontier Corps were killed and three others injured in an attack in the southwestern province of Balochistan. This was reported by WNTab on Saturday, April 26, citing the Xinhua news agency.
According to local government sources, the incident occurred on the outskirts of Quetta, the administrative center of the region, on Friday, April 25. The vehicle carrying the servicemen was hit by an improvised explosive device (IED).
Sources added that the affected group consisted of border engineering troops performing routine duties when their vehicle was blown up. The injured were transported to the nearest hospital.
The country’s security forces cordoned off the area and are continuing to search for the perpetrators.
So far, no group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Earlier, WNTab reported that Pakistan’s Defense Minister did not rule out the possibility of a full-scale war between his country and India.
