Airstrikes on Gaza Strip

Military claims the attacks targeted Hamas militant gatherings and infrastructure

Over the past three days, the Israeli army has carried out more than 200 airstrikes on the Gaza Strip, targeting infrastructure and military objectives of the Hamas movement. This was reported by WNTab on Tuesday, April 22, citing information from the Xinhua news agency.

According to the military, during the operations, Ahmad Mansour, a member of the Islamic Jihad group, was eliminated. Israel claims he took part in the Hamas-led attack on October 7, 2023, and later directed rocket launches.

In two districts of Rafah, the military dismantled what they referred to as “terrorist infrastructure” and discovered caches containing grenades, ammunition, and other military equipment. Forces also destroyed Hamas facilities and eliminated several militants in the central part of the enclave.

In northern Gaza, a strike was carried out on a building housing underground infrastructure. The army also reported dismantling several sniper posts that posed a threat to ground forces.

According to Palestinian media, at least eight people were killed and dozens injured as a result of the Israeli attacks.

Previously, WNTab reported that the death toll from Israeli strikes on Beirut had reached 30 people.

Even earlier, the army of the Jewish state launched an airstrike on the Gaza Strip that killed dozens of residents and disrupted child vaccination efforts.
