The U.S. President once again noted that there is currently a good chance for a compromise between the parties
President of the United States Donald Trump has stated that his country will withdraw from peace negotiations between Ukraine and the Russian Federation if either side complicates the process. This was reported by WNTab on Friday, April 18, citing a statement made by the White House head to journalists.
Donald Trump:
«The U.S. will withdraw from the talks if Ukraine or Russia complicates the process. But I hope it doesn’t come to that».
The U.S. President added that Washington is not setting any specific deadlines in terms of days, but wants to resolve the matter as soon as possible. Trump also emphasized that he has a lifetime of experience in negotiations and knows when someone is playing games with him.
The head of the White House also noted that the negotiations have reached a critical moment and, in his opinion, there is a good chance to reach an agreement to end the war.
Earlier, WNTab reported that Japan had issued a note of protest to Russia.
Meanwhile, the U.S. decided to lift increased tariffs on a number of Chinese goods.
