The election commission in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, has approached the court to request an extension of voting hours in the area due to a software failure affecting voting equipment. This was reported by WNTab on Tuesday, November 5, citing information from CNN.

Local officials have already reached out to IT specialists to resolve the issue. The election commission assured that every vote will be received and counted.

Additionally, while the technical issues are being resolved, voters have the option to cast their votes using paper ballots.

Media outlets also report that at some polling stations, people are waiting for the issues to be fixed, leading to long lines. In other locations, voters are leaving and planning to return later to vote.
